I just snagged them off of Boats dot com for a Switch 51 in Sweden. Not many around and even less in Sweden, so I assumed it was the boat you just purchased.

Re: Atlantic 48 vs Switch 51

Thank you for the welcome svneko. And congratulation to kathham for your purchase.
You did one of the best choice, hope you'll enjoy your boat as i do. i have owned 4 monohulls before the switch, including X482 wich is a wonderfull sailing machine, i liked them very much and did 3 oceans passages without any problems, but, for me, the switch is THE BOAT. 2 years ago, i was about to do the trip to Denmark to see this boat, and then i found Yakataka (no 7) that was very close to my home, and it was the beginning of another boat story !

Why don't you plan to spend some time in the Med ? Aegean sea is wonderfull, with plenty of possibilities to leave your boat in safe marinas...just an idea..!

Re: Atlantic 48 vs Switch 51

Just thought I might piggy back this thread as we are looking to purchase a Switch 51 in 2 years so am hoping to make a connection with one of the current owners to
a) find out as much as I can about the switch as I have only been on one for a short tour at anchor. I have been researching many different cats for several years and this seems to be the boat for my wife and I.
b) Stay in touch and perhaps make two people happy and buy one from someone who has completed their journey and save everyone the hassle and expense of selling and buying.
