I looked at many (on the net) but tracked any! I am at the beginning of process and still have to decide wich cat, according to my
budget, can be the one.
About the
Kelsall in particular, i liked the
salon and the shape of the
boat; berths and generally hulls not so much. What i also thought is the fact that for that
price i can get many production cats but surely a bit older.
I think SCRUMBLE touched an interesting point:
insurance. Is for
insurance companies a "problem" the amateur building? If they ask for more infos/documentation or make special surveys, the answer might be there.
I anyway agree that much depends on who is the amateur
builder and who's the "professional".
