Re: A Few Cats I'd Like Identified

Here's another one for Factor to identify for me ! Somewhere in that pic is a very innovative steering device - I won't go as far as to call it a wheel.

What Boat - where?

Its actually easy - if I can focus on the boat long enough! its Avalanche, a 53 foot (or there abouts) Garry Lidgard design. It did the Bris to Gladstone in 2010, from memory, wasnt there this year but was last or maybe 2009 or both. and from what I have seen of it - really really nice. it was built for stylish comfort performance rather than outright speed. Gorgeous boat on the water. I think Lidgard does really nice sensible boats that manage to look great monos and multis.

Re: A few cats I'd like identified

Songlines was designed and built by Neville Lloyd in Bundy. Was fortunate to have four months and 5,000NM on her in S. Pacific with Neville in 200l. Songlines is brilliant; averaged 9kn plus on each crossing. Neville is a genius, Songlines near perfection. Upgraded? I doubt it. I just hope they left the hull and wishbone alone...

Like me, seems that most folks hate hand washing laundry.

There's another catamaran with "Songlines" (Manly, Qld) across her stern...

Neville Lloyd and Nathan Stanton may not be impressed.........

It's a Lagoon 410
