A bit above my pay grade....

In case you are in the market to purchase and haven't found anything big enough yet:

2013 Aeroyacht Sail Boat For Sale - www.yachtworld.com

Note this part:

As standard equipment the Aeroyacht 125' catamaran is equipped with a personal exploration airplane: The 2 seater Icon A5 amphibian sports-plane will be launched and retrieved from a specially designed pod and can be used for sightseeing, shuttling guests to the yacht or in case of medical emergencies.

Not a problem. The house will fit quite nicely on the starboard tramp.

Forget the airplane. How about a sub instead.

But is it beachable? And will my wife be able to tie the reef lines? These are the features I'm looking for in a 125' yacht.

The Icon A5 hasn't been released yet so I don't know how they will be providing you with one!

Money talks, I suspect some po'er folks will be getting their ICON's slightly later than originally promised.

And every time I see this headline I think it says "A bit above my gay parade"

First I'd have to contract my tailor to let out my pants, if you follow.

Re: A bit above my pay grade....

If I was ever to meet the owner of such a beast I think the one question I would ask is

"Do you ever buy bits and pieces and sundry boat supplies from West Marine?"

There must be a size of boat (and wallet) where such things are never known of.
