25.5ft beam haul out choices in Texas?

I am closing on a L440 on Friday and would like to move the boat to Texas from Florida to do some some work, and to have it close to us for use.

The closest lift that I found on Noonsite was in saint Petes florida at Progressive Marine.

There has to be closer yards. I would prefer a yard that allows me to do some of my own work.

Thanks!

Well it seems that the only choice is to pay a crane company to hoist our L 440 in the Chorpus Christi area.

Texas marine shipyard in San Leon TX (Galveston bay) has a monster travel lift. It’s worth calling to see if they haul plastic boats.

Penninsula Marine on Bolivar. We hauled our 450 there last year for a bottom job. Call Yachtcations, 409-682-7745, ask for Capt. Brandon.

Sorry in advance for the off-topic question. I'm assuming you're a Texas resident? Did you pay sales tax in Florida or Texas?

Neither. We are doing a non resident tax exempt form for Florida. We are not keeping the boat in Texas for long. Look into registration in Delaware if you dont plan on keeping the boat in one state or the US at all.
