To declare something spronk, it means that it is forbidden. Its first mentioning is when the book about "Fleckasia and Other Disorders of the Gizzard" is considered spronk by Dewlap . Soren and a few other owls make a plan to get Otulissa to ask the book matron to fetch it for her. Dewlap tells the spotted owl its spronk and stops the matron. After a small scuffle between Dewlap and Otulissa, the spotted owl screeches "sprink on your spronk!" causing Dewlap to faint.
Another mentioning is when Dewlap again tries to enforce the spronk of the book when she sees Otulissa reading it before First Light . The spronked book falls into the sea when again Otulissa curses Dewlap after nearly missing an important mission from doing her flint mop .
Eventually, Ezylryb finds the book in the water and uses his techniques to remake it.
And this:
Spronk Water Engineers, Inc. is located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Our Mission: To provide effective and reliable water resources and water rights engineering consulting.
And this:
Nico Spronk Professor Department of Pure Mathematics University of Waterloo
And this:
Gordon Spronk, DVM, is a co-founder of the " Pipestone System " of pig production. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Pipestone Holdings LLC, a diversified agribusiness.
And numerous M.D. having the name of Spronk with various medical specialties.
And lastly this, a definition:
Spronk
when you masturbate, or "wank", take a dump, or "poo", and puke, or "womit" at the same time. Now that would be some serious multi-tasking!
So if one named their boat Spronk, what Port of Call would be a good match to register the name with?

Very distinctive boats... much sexier than Condomarans..

Ah, look like great day sailers. Kind of like the standard Snorkelomarans found at resorts.
In the Caribe we call them Lobstermarans..
All these Yank tourists pile on them around lunchtime and motorsail away.. a few hours later they come back all drunk as skunks and lobster red..
Next seen gingerly walking round covered in Calamine...
Still think his cruising cats were pretty cool boats.

Hey I resemble that remark. Except I use aloe vera with lidocaine for the sunburn after cream, if my SPF 50 suncream and rashguard shirt has not protected my backside when snorkeling for hours.
Ease up a little. Whether Lock or Loick really makes not a huge difference.
And what the f. it reminded me of one of his boats.
And I did actually own a trimaran designed by him for a while.
Chill a little and have a relaxed evening, will you, please.
Sorry Franziska, I forgot: in this age of the great dilletantism nothing matters, no spelling, nada! My basically-Kraut heritage got the better of me...

After all the the names Lachlan, Lachy and Lock might(!!) have a common origin with the Breton/French Loick or better Loïck.
Him being Australian he could have had ancestry from anywhere, no?
But I do stand corrected and willfully accept that it was wrong to write him as Loick.
And fine boats he has drawn, the man himself!
So now back to my daily dose of Sauerkraut :-) :-)

sure, peace Franziska! (for "Loick" I was "badly primed": a few minutes earlier someone on CF posted about his "Holland & Pye" design (a wonder he didn't write "Pie", but maybe it really is a "Holland" & not a "Holman"), & that reminded me on a customer who's boat was designed by "Benetton". & generally I find too often on CF people dish out "free advice" which is totally false & shows them as having no idea of the subject, true to the principle of "mistaking opinion for fact").
(I seem to recall that you are actually a 120% perfectionist, some time ago you posted about the conversion of your cat to 2 outboards in wells & as far as I remember that spoke of true "german thouroughness)

Lol, perfectionist only to some degree, mostly I end up with good work boat finish.
Sturdy, functional, in general good looking, but don't look to close at the details :-)
A slightly impatient nature moves things ahead, but does not lend itself to a perfect finish :-)
Ahhh, Holman&Pye, famous for the Oysters built in Colchester, nice boats for the time and a monohull.

If you can’t be civil you shouldn’t respond at all. There is at least one on every site. Someone who, for some reason, feels inferior to everyone else so they have to diminish whoever they can to feel better about themselves. Usually, when this is pointed out, the person is more aggressive in his attacks. Stand by.
I saw them just north of black rock. One looked like possibly a gougeon design and one a wharram perhaps. Anyone know the story there??
I live on Oahu and am not familiar with “Black Rock” - can you give me a better idea where that is? I remember Warram cats but am not familiar with Gougeon. Does it look they’re traveling together? If they come this way, I’d like to check them out. I’ve only ever known of one Warram cat in Hawai’i and it was being built by a friend of my Dads in Puako on the Big Island - decades ago. If they pass thru Molokai, I’ve a designer/builder of Hawaiian Catamarans there (Kirk Clark) who might be interested in checking them out too.
Why donor you swim out and see who’s on board! Then share the story here.
As for Simi ... well, just look at what kind of yacht he has! He probably isn’t much interested in what’s going on around him.
