Yorktown shaft leak around the thru-hull
This 1975 39' Yorktown center cockpit is leaking very slightly around the thru-hull, not between the shaft and cutlass bearing. The plan is to remove shaft and thru-hull and re-bed the thru-hull. This piece is like a solid pipe with no mounting flange externally like all my previous boats. Seems odd. Anyone have any experience with this? Recommended bedding or adhesive for re-installation?
