Yanmar 3YM30AE Raw water overflow/pressure relief valve?

Greetings,
I replaced my trusty 2gm20f for more umph! Hope it wasn’t a mistake.
First try, it started straight away and it’s purring like a kitten HOWEVER there is a constant and pressurized sea water coming out of the clear hose from the back of the heat exchanger. This turns to a trickle when the motor is switched off and of course stops when the through hull valve for the raw water is turned off. I’m hoping for an advise and a path to solution from the gurus of this’s very useful forum.

Even though I’m a useless armchair guru who didn’t know where the Pythagorean chandelery was, I’ll still take a stab at this.

Is this a winterizing drain with a petcock on it? There should be no “pressure relief valve” on the raw water side.

In fact, after consulting the manual, it is a drain cock.

My dear armchair guru,
I see I must have offended you and I apologies. I was simply trying to target my question to sailors in certain cruising area. Not knowing where/what Pythagorean is certainly not important.
A petcock nut/bolt head and/or a valve at the end the running hose certainly would be the first thing to tighten/shut off to solve this problem. However, this sucker has no such thing on the raw water side. It has one on the fresh water coolant side. but this is another gripe I have with this brand new engine. It could certainly be a good topic for rants and raves on “new generation of Yanmar engines” not to mention missing alternator cable from the starter. 😁😁😁
By the way mine turned out to be the Sea water drain cock. It was wrapped with masking tape and the hose barb it self is a petcock!!!!
