Windrush Wildfire trailer sailer

I recently purchased a Windrush Wildfire trailer sailer. She is an old boat, probably up to 50 years old. It is in relatively good condition but in need of a major refurbishment. I have stripped her down and thrown away all the extra bits and pieces that seem to accumulate on sailing boats when owned by people who aren't overly concerned with performance, cushions, wire, lights, felt glued to the walls etc.
I can't find very much info on the Wildfire other than an article in an old magazine and a Brochure on John Crawford Marine's site.
If anyone is familiar with these little old hotrods I want to know about the mast. It is an unusual section with slip in curved sections up the front which creates a separate channel for the wiring and halyards. I've never seen this before. It is also a rotating mast with an arm extending afterwards from the mast step fitting to control the rotation.
I don't know how the rotation device was originally set up and was wondering if anyone knows or could perhaps send me a photo of the set up. I have owned boats with rotating mast before and can set it up but prefer to make it original.
Another unusual thing about the mast is the cast aluminium fitting in the top which has a hinged plate on the top of it onto which the anchor light and wind instruments sit. If this is standard I'd appreciate a photograph or explanation of it also.
