Who duplicate a tiller in SoCal?

Looking for marine wood shop to duplicate or make a tiller in southern cal.
There was one but sounds like the place went out a business.

What boat? You can buy tillers from West Marine. There are a few, one usually could fit.

Thanks, but those stock tillers are kind of low profile, need more raise.
The boat is soverel 33.

There is a company in Idaho that has a long list of stock tillers and will do custom if stock doesn't work. IIRC there old Website was idahosailor.com but have changed their name. If that doesn't work, Google should turn it up. They did a custom tiller for me with quick turn around and good pirice

No time for a DIY masterpiece? You could even incorporate some Carbon Fiber (& S-glass), plus some inlays, for a Very sexy new 'driving handle'.
They're not tough to do, & there's plenty of info on the subject, readily available.

Years age, I've seen chandlers supplying a no. of shapes of laminated tillers. I would hunt around. I'm not sure most wood shops would have a steam box? In a pinch an ax handle works great, just not pretty.

You don't need a steam box. I've made a couple over the years. You use strips of wood maybe 1/4" thick. Lay out your shape with blocks screwed onto a piece of plywood. You bend each strip and lay it on the next one. Be sure to make them extra long as they are hard to get in place. Of course you epoxy each layer (or Recorsinol glue). Clamp them intimately and let set up. Next day you band saw the final shape, sand and "bob's yer unkle". The multi layer style is stronger/less crack prone than one solid piece of wood anyway.

I'm have to cede. I guess with thin enough ply a steam box would not be needed.
