Who Am I?

I kinda fell in love, at first site, but I don't have a clue what the make or model is of this fine looking craft.

Can anyone tell me what it is ? (it's somewhat dwarfed the the sailboat in the background)

Any help is much appreciated.

Re: who am I ?

It is a sailing boat even though at this stage you can't see the sails. It is a pretty sailing boat. Looks North American.

It looks like a classic cat boat though don't have a clue to the manufacturer.

Re: who am I ?

If it has a hull ID number you can trace the letters in the code to the manufacturer. Hull ID numbers can be found on the starboard side of the transom on production boats that have been manufactured since November of 1972.

If its about 17 feet I'd say it was a Cape Cod Cat. Designer Charles Wittholz.
I like it too.

Re: who am I ?

Thanks Speakeasy! I was going by memory ( I too was in love with a cat, a Herreshoff 18). The picture helps! But the bow looks wrong, see how plumb it is? And the combing is different I think. Now not so sure it is a Herreshoff.
