Which is the better?

I am in evaluation process looking for as much information as possible. Maybe you can help? Pound for pound which boat is the Champion?
Cabo Rico 38' vs Cape Dory 36'

Pound for pound, what one do you like better?

Cabo Rico has a balsa cored hull below the water line and the Cape Dory has been known to have soft decks which are balsa cored. I know because I have a Cape Dory and have seen the Cabo Rico stripped of gelcoat.

Which is "better", which is the "champion"? Those are very subjective. To what purpose do you intend to put your choice?
I'm a Cape Dory guy so the choice would be easy for me.
