Me and my GF will be visiting the canaries
during the holidays, of course we would like to get some good boat-watching going. We are looking to purchase
a cheapo (pocket-)cruiser this summer and would like to use this holiday to do some pre-recon of what types of boats are available.
I have heard that deals can sometimes be found on well equipped vessles ready /almost ready for the atlantic crossing
. However, I am unsure where to look. We have not decided if we are going to Gran Canaria or Tenerife, but leaning towards GC.
We are mainly looking for a 28-33ft long keeled cruiser. Being ready/equipped and in a decent condition is a priority, but we are not looking for crazy comforts. Our plan is mainly to cruise
the Med and then take her home to Sweden
via the canals. So a shallow draft
and decent engine
is a must.
Are there any other places to look, except for the Las Palmas
marina? Any tips etc. are greatly appreciated!
: Where in the canaries
should me and my gf go look for "cheap" cruisers?
