Hi everyone.
My wife and I are in the market for a 36' to 42'
liveaboard sailboat in the
Pacific Northwest, eager to buy sometime in the first half of 2021. (Yes, I'll post in the classifieds then...this post is information-seeking.)
In our preliminary (online-only) search so far, we've grown very partial to this
Jeanneau &
Bavaria belowdecks layout:
Here's what we especially like about it:
-The aft cabins (not partial to whether there's one or two; we have one 8yo child)
-The forward stateroom (we also like the version where instead of the bunk bed-style double berth there's a larger
head with
shower, possibly en suite)
-The
galley stretching forward-aft along the side like a workbench, rather than cloistered into a corner, opposite the dinette beam-wise
-The wrap-around dinette
-The Cuervo Gold; the fine Colombian (compulsory)
I'm wondering
what other sailboats in this overall length range were made with this same layout?
Thanks!
