What is the cruising boat market like?

You know what the biggest problem with selling a boat right now is?

Surveyors!!!

We can’t find any for my boat. They are booking 4-6 weeks out and working around the clock.

If anyone knows a surveyor from Connecticut to the Canadian border that has availability in the next week or so, I can’t sell my boat because we can’t get one!

I was having same problem looking at boats in Florida. I made thread here on CF about it and got recommended Cecilia Potts.

I appreciate the thought, but she’s not allowed to come here without a 14 day quarantine. Florida is on the list of bad places these days.

pretty strong. Listed June 1 in Annapolis with a broker-sold in 4 days, close in a week. It was priced right and had some value.

If the boats priced correctly it will sell.

Sell now as there'll be a lot of boats for sale after people realize the day they bought and sold the boat is the happiest time of their ownership. LOL
