west wind 35

hello everybody
got my eyes on a west wind 35
anybody know about these type of boats
ups /downs .
good things -bad things
handling speed etc.
cannot find much info on the web

Never heard of it but looking at the data appears to be an IOR design.

West Wind 35

Very good boat. We have one of them here two docks away. I have talked to ex owner and I have been onboard.

IOR based but not a racer. Primrose designed and Nauta built. Nice interior with good seagoing layout.

I was considering buying her when she was on the market but I could not afford the asking price. Someone else took her.

They sail OK, not quite as good downwind as modern cruising designs.

Give or take all the regular boat trouble, an excellent boat.

will go and take her out of the Water and hopefully everything will be fine
so i start my new sailing adventure
