Just to add some fun here:
I won a small lawsuit and spent the
money buying an old sailboat a couple years ago and decided to change the name. Of course, asked around the
family and friends, getting some pretty
funny names. One friend said, "Well, it's like you won the lottery and you've decided to make one of the most terrible investments possible with the
money." (said jokingly, but he's not wrong!)
"Name it after something even less responsible you could spend the money on"
At the time, there was a hysterical video clip that was played on live news, where a guy was coming out of a shop after
buying some lottery tickets and a newscaster was doing a live interview about the lotter hitting some sort of massive amount. She pulled this guy aside and asked him, if he won, what was he going to spend his money on?. After a brief pause, the guy leaned into the mic and said, "Hookers and Cocaine", gave a little smile and walked away while the newscaster's jaw hung loose.
So, after putting his "Hookers and Cocaine" name on the list next to everyone else's suggestion, we had a vote and "Hookers and Cocaine" won.
I was *almost* ready to pull the trigger and do it, but then just imagined myself calling the coast guard in an emergency.
Anyway, then my father in law died and we just named the boat after him. No fun at all.
