This one has the boom where I have spreaders. The main sheet is attached high up for easy flipping, if such a weight can be lifted at all.

Coopec 43 you would be amazed what sells. I have surveyed so many bastardised yachts that you would think no one would touch.
When surveying them I keep the same expression on my face as the one that I use when the wife asks if her dress makes her look fat.
Cheers

Nothing like a poorly done hard dodger or pilothouse to ruin the aesthetic of a boat.

Re: Unofficial ugly sailboat thread

Well, the add title is: "2002 45 feet sailboat custom leave aboard".
I would recommend leaving it and looking for pretty boats (or floating houses).

The boats on this thread are why I dread to see "custom" in a for sale listing.

Re: Unofficial ugly sailboat thread

It might not be pretty, but form followed function when it came to the Great Lakes fishing boats. Several still exist, most not used anymore, if any. Mostly they are relegated to museums or back lots of marina storage. This one currently resides at the Michigan Maritime Museum, not far from my home, in South Haven Michigan.
