Trinidad-tobago pre purchase connection?

Been looking for a boat for the last few months and have a strong interest in a boat currently listed in Trinidad_tobago. Knowing the letdowns of sale listings, does anyone know of a person/business in the area that perhaps videos/pictures the real deal in detail, with no interest in the sale, in order to save someone like me the time and trouble of traveling to inspect?

possibly just came up with a great idea for an easy business for the shoe stringer in remote locations looking for extra cash but nonetheless throwing it out there?

A local surveyor should be able to look after that for you.

That was the route I was going to take, was just curious about the quicker better picture/video look before I went to a surveyor, wondered if it existed.

That being said, can anyone recommend a good surveyor in Trinidad-tobago?

My boat is on the hard at Peake Yacht Services in Chaguaramas, Trinidad and the yard hands out a list of contractors and tradesmen to their clients. Under the title of 'Surveys', they list:

I have not worked with either of these firms nor as anyone locally made any mention of them to me.

I think your idea is good before doing a surveyor. There ought to be cruisers hanging out down there who could take a quick look for general opinion first.
