Thoughts on Robinson spray 28ft for a newbie

Hi all i live in Brisbane and dream about sailing the coast a opurtunity hascomeup where i can get a Robinson spray at agood price .Is thisyacht capable (with practice of course) of going up the coast maybe over to indonesia .I have a a 600 amp hour battery setup with inverter and 500 watts of solar .It has a yamaha 10 hp diesel .Imyet tohave a look on board but any tips on what to look for .

Also if there is anyone in brisbane looking for a crew member .I would love to lean the ropes on a bigger boat I used to have a hobie cat when i was young so i know the basics .Can even help with electrical problems upgrades .
