Leaving on Saturday for this summer's sail. First leg is to Latvia and then to Poland. After that... don't know yet - maybe Germany, Holland and France. It's blowing from the north as well, which is rare here but great for the start of the trip!

Wanted to thank everyone who has helped with my many questions! Upgrading the boat this spring was a lot of work, but now the systems work. The black water discharge pump works, got the cruising chute without problems and hope to fly it on Sunday, replaced the autopilot, got rid of duct tape resiudue, added a new fridge, new bottom paint, new batteries and electric panels and generally spent way too much time at the boatyard.

Have a great trip!

We arrived in your waters a couple of weeks ago, arriving in Hanko from Copenhagen with a short stop outside of Stockholm.

We had a wonderful slow cruise along the whole south coast of Finland, with a stopover in Helsinki on the way to points East of there.

Weather was absolutely gorgeous until this week, when it went to carp. Remind me of what they say about summer in Finland:

"Summer in Finland is short! But it doesn't snow much!"

Thanks DH! As on cue, today the mail brought my ICC, new radio license for the boat, and insurance documents, which I was worried wouldn't arrive before departure. Yep, it's been unseasonably warm until this week. That saying is spot on, and they had 8 cm of snow in Lapland . At least it's sunny here now, even if a bit cold and windy.
