Tartan 31 vs 3100

Can someone explain to me the differences between these 2 boats? From what I can see, they are identical in dimensions (Length, Beam, Ballast, Disc., SA, PHRF, etc.). The interior lay out and tankage appears to be the same. Was the change just a name designation change, or is there an actual difference in the boats? I looked on the Tartan owners website, but there's not a lot of info on the 3100.

So I thought I might update this incase someone else is looking for the same thing later.

At this point, I've found a couple minor differences between the boats. The 3100 has 2 doors for the head, which changes the salon table setup (hangs on the wall on the 31). The chart table arrangement is sligthly different too, and the 3100 has a sugar scoop transom vs. the 31's traditionally smooth transom.

There may be other differences between the boats, but I haven't found them yet.
