Tanzer or Jeanneau Espace

For many reasons I am considering buying either a Tanzer 10.5 or a Jeanneau espace 1000 DL (interior/exterior helms, sailing the Med and barging the canals, comfort, price). Does anyone have opinions on either or both?

I just started looking at the Tanzer. The motion comfort ratio isn't great, but the swing keel looks excellent. Seems to be a well respected and capable blue water boat. The only thing that concerns me is the passageway to the rear stateroom. That thing looks like it only is about 3 feet tall by the looks of the pictures, and with no entrance from the cockpit it looks like you'd have to crawl on your hands and knees to get back to the master stateroom.
