SW Florida marina with mast up trailer storage?

I'm looking to find a marina, preferably with Charlotte Harbor access, that I could keep a Hunter 260 or similar boat on a trailer this winter. What I would like to be able to do is fly down from freezing Iowa, launch the boat or have it set in the water, and sail for a week or two at a time. Does such a place exist? I could expand my search to between Ft Myers and Venice. Reason for looking in this area is the availability of low cost, direct flights which could make it practical.

Safe Cove on Gasparila rd. would be a good choice.

Re: SW Florida marina with mast up trailer storage?

I am from IL and leave mine at Punta Gorda Marine. They stepped the mast and put it in. When I leave they just put it back on the trailer with the mast up. I leave the truck there too. Pretty skinny water getting out of there. I draw 3.5' and wait until high tide. Laishley Park Municipal Marina is a nice price by it as long as you can get under the bridge. Floating docks and nice.We have used Allegiant Airlines and just fly into the local airport from the Quad Cities. Sure beats driving and is almost cheaper. I go to a hotel close to the airport and stay 1 night. They let you leave your vehicle there for up to 1 week no charge and have a shuttle to the airport.
