stuffing box

I am replacing the cutless bearing on an 89 hunter 28', should I replace the stuffing box too?

not unless it's corroded beyond recognition. But you should repack it as long as the boat is out of the water.

'89--the thing is still a baby. If it doesn't show any damage, save yourself a hundred or so.
