Stringer replacement? Is it worth it?

Is it worth it to go through the trouble of replacing stringers on 1980 30 ft US yachts sailboat when the sailboat cost is $3000? They are water logged, including under the mast compression post. Thanks for any advice.

If you have previous experiece in this kind of work.
If you have lots of time. Lots ad lots of time.
If you prefer to work on boats rather than sail them
