If you are going to haul out to paint, wait til them to get the barnacle residue off. If you can use it safely, Mary Kate On-Off (which is a mix of three or four strong acids) will disolve the calcium in the barnacles. Gord is the expert here.

how could you aply that under watter is the problem, working on getting the big guys off but there not budging, usng a fue diffrent plastic scrapers tying not to hurt the paint. tempted to use mettal and sacerfice the pain since i am haulling out soon and since i do not know what the paint is im going to strip it all and start with new paint.

kinda just cleening up evreything right now. getting redy to start ordering parts and paint and striperand what no so when i haull out its all on hand and no wating or hunting.

Shadow - I think at some point you should haul out and do it properly. You want to get all that old stuff off, you want to get a good look at your hull and you probably want to get all the thru hulls replaced.

You might even have some shaft work to do.

Save up your pennies, dive on the boat for now but get everything under water squared away with a good haul out where you get all the work done at once.

yup. probobly going to get evreything set. if the moter guys get it fixed il take it out on a very calm day and see how evreything works before i haull out. watters out here are deep once out get pose the coral. just drops off
