Steersman Autopilot Experience

Looking for an autopilot in the 'wind powered' category.

My vessel is a Pacific Seacraft 31 and I sail mostly single handed. Getting on in years but still have some dreams of getting out of the Chesapeake. So far that has only been courtesy of others!
There is an Autohelm ST4000 wheel pilot but that is both above deck and power hungry. In looking for a vane pilot I stumbled over the Steersman, which uses the genoa to control the wheel thru blocks and bungee 'springs'.
I am interested to find any users or skeptics. I like the idea as it keeps the transom clear and nothing is below the water line. Seems reasonably simple and logical in the vane (pun intended) of other rope managed tiller pilots.
