starting out - need advice on family cruising yacht

hi everyone , i am hoping someone can give me some advice on a good family cruising yacht, 2 kids 2 dogs, me and the wife,
we are pretty sure on a ferro hull, but are wanting to know if the hartley rorc 39, or the tahitian would be a safe and comfy choice, also we are considering an ed sayers 40'.
any help/advice would be great, thanks.

Greetings, and WELCOME aboard pman.

If he doesn't chime in, send a PM to Alan Wheeler, who is our ferro' guru - he owns the 45ft. Hartley Tahitian, "Leisure Lady".

Most important thing about buying a secondhand ferro, is to ensure that the hull was built professionally
