Re: Southern Cross 31 or Bayfield 29

Okay so I didn't want to leave you guys wondering. I ended going look at the seawind 32 and it was rough a lot worse than I had originally thought. I then decided to go ahead and go for the southern cross however it had been sold as with the bayfield.

I am currently looking at a Trumbly 31 1979 model that I found while searching for other seawinds. Any one know anything on them? This one has a 23hp md11c factory a that isn't working but the ducts are there. Overall I'd said in between fair and good condition. Any info on this boat would be greatly appreciated I can't find much and what I have found contradicts that of other information.

I've never heard of a Trumbly, but can offer this token tip for a better response rate: Start a new thread with "31' Trumbly, 1979" as the title. Add your question to the body.

Good luck, and bummer about the other boats. It's always helpful to read about peoples buying/shopping experiences though.

FlynMoto, was that Southern Cross you were looking at in St. Petersburg Florida?
