You really need to provide a bit more detail about what your primary goals and performance wishes are for the proposed yacht if seeking some input.
I have gone trailerable and swing keel for extreme skinny
water sailing in often uncharted areas but this entails some performance sacrifices as well as internal and overall size constraints.
I have however recently completed over two months living onboard with my partner in an inshore island location and for one week of this we also hosted an old kayaking buddy of mine as well.
My yacht can accommodate two couples for a limited period and one couple for an extended time having standing
headroom at the
galley, an enclosed
head with
shower and a large dinette not required for bedding for the 4/5 people berths.
It’s not an
offshore capable yacht but very versatile for a wide range of cruising locations outside this.
Few would likely choose the direction I have gone equipping an Imexus 28 for long period cruising but it works for us allowing easy relocation to distant and unique cruising grounds by
trailer and access to local very skinny water cruising opportunities.
We also can access our closest to home ocean sailing which requires crossing an often breaking rivermouth bar.
Whilst just an option to consider I think you need to provide more detail for others to provide some
advice.
