Search for classic Tingen design, Kok shipyard build sailing yachts

Hi, Cruisers,

I am trying to complete the list of Henk Tingen designed and mostly Kok-Vinkeveen build sailing yachts. There are several of these steel S shape Yawl and ketch-yachts sold to USA yacht owners from 1945 till app. 1980. I found in the last years several (80-100) of them in Holland and all over the world. The type names are Orka, Cruisemate, Holland, Pampus and Pierrette. Perhaps is some of you owner of a classic Tingen yacht or know something about.

Inshalla, a Summit 48 based on the hull of the Pierrette III was build in 1968 at the Kok shipyard in Vinkeveen. Inshalla is one of the app. 150 designs of Henk Tingen on my list. The shipyard is still there but dos not build anymore.
During the years 1968 till 1978 I race and sailed as a crewmember on the Pierrette III, in fact I have seen building several Tingen designed because I was living next to the Kok shipyard in Vinkeveen. Two month ago I met a fellow American on his Tingen Yacht in Amsterdam; he also visited the shipyard, he was sailing and living on his Endeavor (46ft)since 2005 in which he rounded Cape Horn.

I am in the process of purchasing “Outrageous”, a 1957 Orca 12 ketch and she will be relocated to Oriental, North Carolina. Her owners have maintained her in Bristol condition for the past 45 years, and I will continue their legacy. If anyone has a set of prints for an Orca 12, I’d love to hear from you.
