Re: Seafarer Tripp 30 In Portland OR

It sounds as if you are really making good progress. I must have passed by your boat yard at least 10 times in October but so busy getting a boat ready I didn't have time to stop.
I'll be in town the next time in August so maybe I'll get another chance to meet you.
kind regards,

SkiprJohn, I'm docked at McCuddy's Marina now. I'm still hoping to take it down the coast this summer but it's all dependent on money and time. If I'm still here in August you should definitely look me up. Was the boat you were getting ready on the island?

Congrats on the boat. Sounds like a great boat and great adventure. Once you cross the Rubicon, you just keep going forward!

Re: Seafarer Tripp 30 In Portland OR

Hi...I sailed hull # 13 from Santa Barbara to the
Meditteranian via panama. Had horrendous weather
From Norfolk to the Azores.
Recently I was given hull # 5 which I have in the
Chesapeake. Both are 1960 built by Werkspoor in the Netherlands.
Great little boat and with one or two easy mods. Can be a fine cruiser.
IM me if you want to discuss

Most of the time we were working at Schooner Creek and then back to the marina at the end of Tomahawk Island on the North side. Can't remember the name of it. A Cheoy Lee Sigma 38 is what we were aboard. Made it down to Newport before the weather closed in.

I'll definitely drive around there to see if I can find you.

kind regards
