Scanner 391 - shealter in the cockpit?

Hi Cruisers,

I am thinking about purchasing a Scanyacht Scanner 391 for coastal cruising, including overnight passages in Bass Strait. A bit concerned that the main sheet arrangement, with traveler at the forward end of the cockpit, means the dodger cannot extend back over the cockpit at all to provide meaningful shelter. The bimini is also pretty small.

I'd love to hear from any Scanner 391 owners about how they have handled this problem? Can you achieve much shelter in the cockpit?
