sailboat hatches, different designs

Hi all,
Hatches come in a different designs, can someone tell me what is the difference between a low profile, medium profile and high profile hatches.

More material in the frame, sometimes thicker glass. Beefier frames may be less likely to bend, may hold a seal better.

Low profile hatches are often too flimsy for offshore applications.
