Rigger Needed Sydney NSW

Hi All,

Wanting to get some recommendations on a good, well experienced riggers in Sydney.
I have an older French boat with electric furlers and wanted to potentially replace them with manual.
So far my experience with boating industry 'professionals' in Sydney has not been great, and so I really hope I can get some good recommendations here. Cheers in advance

Walsh Rigging can be found on the north part of the bay. It’s in the area of Hunters Hill. They had a fairly good ship right, sailloft and rigging shop all in one marina. I worked there about 10 years ago.

If you come up short, MacDiarmid sail maker can be looked up. They would be able to direct you to a rigger.

I would also recommend Mario Ruel. He is situated at Bayview Marina on Pittwater Road Bayview. He has done all my rigging on a Moody 41 for the last 12 years. That work included conversion to a boom furler some years ago and a complete 10 year “insurance” refit.I have found him to be very professional.

Another vote for Mario. Just watch the sand bank to the north of his jetty
