Replacement Washer/Dryer for Moody 54

I'm not sure how many CF'ers have Moody 54's -- not that many of them were built. But on the odd chance someone has some knowledge, here is my question.

The M54 was built with a Eumenia/Eudora EU457 washer/dryer in the passage cabin. A high quality long lasting device. Mine has been used heavily and is 18 years old and but for a switch problem (and part unavailble) has been extremely reliable.

But it's quite primitive compared to current machines, uses a lot of water, dumps water vapour from drying right into the cabin, has very small capacity.

After 18 years, surely it deserves to be retired and be replaced by something more modern. The problem is that this device is an odd size, and the beautiful cabinetry in the passage cabin was built specifically to take it. I have not been able to find a suitable replacement. Surely other M54 owners by now have figured something out? Grateful for all tips.

The space available is:

Depth up to 63cm in case you take off the cabinet door. Somewhat less if you want to keep the cabinet door.

Height strictly limited to 78cm

Width limited to 58cm. Could possibly be increased to 60cm if a board is taken out on the forward side.

I have not found anything which would fit. The dryer function is essential in this climate (!), which greatly limits the choices.

Don’t remember the measurements

Good machine

In an M54?

I have Miele's in my land homes; agree they are great.

Edit: the WWH860 is a washer only; for me in my latitudes the dryer function is crucial, probably more important than the washer.

Yes washer only

The Miele high speed spin cycle is very efficient at removing water

The best I’ve Ever used

Not to high jack this post, but who makes a good washer/dryer combo unit that actually gets the cloths dry? I've heard that many of these units are a little weak on the dry cycle.

Dockhead, did you find a washer/dryer replacement? This happens to be one upgrade I will be looking for very soon after our purchase is complete this month. Interestingly, I saw another post from you regarding Induction cooktop. This is yet another upgrade I'm considering, getting LPG out of the cabin, and taking advantage of LiFePO4.

No, I haven't found anything which will fit without surgery to the beautiful cabinets, and I have other problems to deal with this year. If you figure out some solution, I'm sure other M54 owners will be grateful to you!

sorry, but can’t be agree: Miele machines are the best money can buy. Their washer/dryer machines, specially the top line ones, are just perfect.
I have onboard the model WTW870, and I can promise you that’s simply perfect
