Repair awlgrip scratches
I have a dark blue awlgrip hull which has a two foot linear scratch on the port side, probably caused by an errant nail that was protruding from my slip. I was given a repair kit by the boatyard. My thought is to mask off the area above and below the scratch and use a thin artist brush to paint over the scratch. Will this work? Anything else I should know? I have a photo on my iphone but not sure how to upload it.

Hello, I am interested in more information about the "repair kit" from the boatyard. I too have some scratches I would like to improve the appearance.

It consists of three liquids that have to be mixed. I will talk to the yard Monday and learn more. Note, this is for awlgrip only.
