Removable Winches

I was wondering if any one has come up with a bracket with a some kind of pin for removing winches when not sailing?
Previous owners of my boat build on an enclosure over the center cockpit and moved all the winches, clutches and cleats aft. So, now I will have to go out of the cockpit and work the lines.
My thought was to reposition them back in the original place and then be able to remove the winches and the clutches when I'm not sailing so I can use the full sitting area.

Sometimes being practical is the best solution.

Not saying it couldn't be done, but winches are under tremendous strain, and if something were to fail, results could be catastrophic. By all means, put them wherever makes sense to you, but anything removable can accidentally remove itself.
