reattaching coupler
I'm having a devil of a time getting a new split coupler on the shaft.
Ice on the shaft and a hot coupler cant be done because of space problems.

Anyone got any ideas how to make this happen?

Get some steel wedges for tool handles and drive them into the split. Or maybe screw drivers, whatever works.

Some hammer handle repair wedges to spread the split coupling?
