Hi all,
My
marine Plywood Bluebird 22ft yacht has been out of the
water on the hard stand for close to 12 mths.
Unfortunately whilst on the
mooring it has suffered some damage as it went under the
water.I would like to
repair the yacht.
I am working through issues.
1. Sand bottom of yacht and repaint and antifoul.
2.Repair 4 issues listed below.
3.Sand and
paint topside.
4.Replace
rigging and replace handgrips.
5.Repaint
rudder and fix tiller.
6.remove and replace all old
wood fittings on upper
deck.
7.Mast repaint can occur at some time in future.
Can anyone make suggestions on how to make
repairs to the following problems.
1.Stern portside hole on bottom of yacht.
2.Starboard midships splinter hole.
3.Starboard concave
wood damage next to
hardstand support pole.
4.leak front of keel-suggest that
marine sikaflex should fix this problem.
Please find photos attached.
Please make suggestions and comments on how to
repair issues.Any help appreciated.
