Lightbulb Pearson Countess 44

I used to sail a Cheoy Lee offshore Richards and I am thinking in getting back to the game...I am now considering a Pearson Countess 44, any opinion will be greatly appreciated

Re: Pearson Countess 44

I own one. They're great boats and built really well. There's an owners site just google Pearson Countess 44. Read Monton Farnam's review on the site. They sail and motor well. It's a good seaboat and can handle a strong wind and remain comfortable.
Just check the normal things on an older boat: the rig, chainplates, mast base, tanks, electrical, engine. The hull and deck unless really abused by an owner are pretty bulletproof.
Good luck and feel free to contact me if you want additional information.
