Pacific Seacraft 40

I flew down to Houston this past weekend to look at both a Pacific Seacraft 37 and a 40. I only had time to crawl all over them -- not to sea trial either. I know that the 37 is a highly-regarded cruiser, but I know nothing of the 40's sailing characteristics or general reputation. I prefer the 40, because there's so much more room to install things like a watermaker, diesel generator, etc. Can anyone give me feedback on the 40?
