Blue Moon Yawl
Steady's Notes:
This boat caught my eye. It is a
small boat, but one that looks like it would be fun to sail and own. Some
wood boats are like that, full of character and more than just a
hull and
sails.
I happen to like Tom Gilmer designed boats.
And I like boats with a Gaff Rig and a
bowsprit. Like this one.
For me, as an artist who paints boats, I find the look of a traditional boat or a gaffer appealing. Just one of those personal style things that either appeals to one or not.
And of course "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder."
