Olympic Adventurer 47'

G'day from Australia,

Looking for info or experience from readers on the 47' Olympic Adventurer, Designed by Ted Brewer and built in Greece.

They are Balsa cored hulls to the water tanks or ,not sure.
Any ideas on their life span?

As a Greec agent told me recently = we in this country have never been able to make yachts but since we got big government subsidy we tried.........he did not advise me to buy a local produced yacht

Oylmpic Adventre 47

Oylmpic Adventre 47

Finding it hard to get acurate information on the above, particuarly regarding construction: hull and wether it is cored? solid to water line? etc.

any information on average speeds, sail balance, setup and performance in different conditions would be great

also if they have had 'serious' problems with ossmosis that would significantly effect saftey or performance or any other issues/ hints tips to watch out for would be great.

Many thanks

WW
