Oceanis 45 swim platform getting stuck

I'm crewing on an oceanis 45 with a swim platform and it's getting stuck. We jumped in the lazarette and tapped what we think is the solenoid gently with a hammer and it worked. We're getting to organise a replacement part by need to describe it more accurately and the plate with all its information is illegible. Pic attached with what we can see.
