I have hull #46 and am very familiar with her. Had her almost 11 years and I think I have had my hands on every bit of her. What power plant do you have? Centerboard? Specific questions for me?

Good Morning!

We don't have possession of her yet. We have signed the contract . If all is as expected, we plan to pick her up mid July.
She is a centerboard 35.5C. She was repowerd with a rebuilt Yanmar 40HP diesel

We are planning a trip from Conneticut to Charleston, her new home port.
Don't think I cant afford the time, nor do I have the experience to sail her outside. Im hoping to assemble a crew, to at least Annapolis, but its like herding ants.

Congratulations on your new Bristol! A fine choice . . . but I'm biased. Spent a few years re-creating a Bristol 27 and just starting to love Charleston Harbor (we're at Ashley Marina) and dreaming of much beyond. Do check out the Bristol Facebook group for lots of helpful (and some other) advice. Enjoy your journey down the coast!

Great sailboat! Our family sailed ours out of Stonington, Ct for a bunch of years. Dad sold it to a boatyard employee after I went off to school. Amazing Grace. Bronze package, centerboard, blue hull.

Congratulations on your Bristol 35.5 cb....no finer year there! Definitely pick Sanibel's (Nurdle's) brain. I am 5 yrs into a refit, so can help in certain areas where I've worked on my 1978....
