New Catalina Capri 22 vs "old" Capri 25?

Hi,

I have been sailing for some years now on my own sunfish, JY 15 and Hobie 16 + several cruising sailboats of friends.

For years I have dreamed of having a Capri 22 (nice low large cockpit) which I could trailer without problem and use as I have my current boats every few weeks. Without having to store it in a marina and pay all the fees just for one or two weekends of sailing a month. And its bottom without antifoulling yeah!

I have also seen the discontinued Capri 25 which would be harder to trailer and would be better off storing rigged on the hard marina full time, or at the slip.

Use will be daysailing with the occasional over night and perhaps a long weekend on the near islands. Im a backpacker at hearth and dont need much comfort.

Any opinions on this, pros/cons?
