Neptune 24 CB

Looking at purchasing Neptune 24 CB in Oregon. Looks like a good solid boat BUT. The keel appears to be packed with lead shot that at some point froze solid and shattered the interior fiberglass floor. What is the nets opinion? I'm more than capable of doing the repair, but current owner is asking top dollar 7500.00

I have a Neptune 24. Unless you really want this particular boat for very specific reasons, I would be looking for another one for that amount of money. That sounds like a lot of work. There are a lot of boats very similar to that for less, in better shape.

I did pass. The boat was just a little to iffy, with a seller that wouldn't move enough on the price. 5k boat. Thank you for your reply.
