Need any info on Kirie Elite 25

Ok, just getting back into sailing after a 20 some odd year layoff. I just bought a boat after having a friend go look at it but don't know much about it and have searched several forums/internet and found very little about these boats. I can find a few larger Kirie boats for sale but none this size. I do know they are French and the larger ones seem to have a good reputation but can only find specs on the Elite 25. Any information on build and sailing quality will be greatly appreciated and comparison boats???????!!!!

To tell you my back ground, I owned and sailed a Catalina 27 in my early 20's and have a small Cape Dory 18 now. Love the little Dory but wanted something larger for the wife and myself to take out for weekends. Thanks to everyone who responds and give any information on the Kirie 25.

Elite is North American version, same as Feeling which is European version built by Kirie.
Kirie 25(Elite 25) is Feeling 720.

I had thought the same thing but after looking at the interior cabin layout the Elite 25 is set up alot different than the Feeling 720. The Elite 25 has a full head and a V birth forward of the head. On the Feeling 720 layout it only has a open cabin with head in aft Starboard side. I guess what I really would like to know about is the build quality of the boats and their weak areas. Thanks for the information though.

There are some options and built by different boat builders but designed by same designer.
US and Europe, have different tastes for set up.
I'd seen even different accommodations in Elite 30s and Elite 32s, those were same North America versions.

I sailed couple of models and they maintained good quality. I liked them and wanted so bad spent almost 3years, But could not find one close to me. I did not see any weak point, and they were built roomy than other same class boats.

After reading this reply, I did a little more research and did find that they came in severaldifferent cabin layouts. I would like to thank you for the information. Looking on the old internet and googling both names, Feeling and Kirie, it seems that most of these boats are located in the European areas, very few here in the US. We'll hopefully she turns out to be a good old girl and all that will be needed is some TLC.
